For immediate release. Ontario Creates through its IDM Fund has awarded N5 Pictures with funding support for the second season of the short-form digital series ‘The Runner‘. The Runner Season 2 is scheduled to begin production in the fall of 2024.
The Canada Media Fund (CMF) has awarded the second season of the critically acclaimed series ‘The Runner’ with production financing. The crime thriller from N5 Pictures Inc. will be shot in Ontario and is set to begin principal photography in the Fall of 2024.

N5 Pictures attended the Marche Du Film at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. The company was presenting it’s latest completed feature films and digital series like The Runner.
